Hebrews 11:1,24-31 - Amplified
FAITH is the assurance
NOW
11:1 (the confirmation, the title deed)
of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do
not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as
real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
11:24 [Aroused] by faith Moses, when he had grown to maturity and
become great, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's
daughter, [Exod. 2:10, 15.]
11:25 Because he preferred to share the oppression [suffer the
hardships] and bear the shame of the people of God rather
than to have the fleeting enjoyment of a sinful life.
11:26 He considered the contempt and abuse and shame
the Christ (the Messiah Who was to come) to be greater
wealth than all the treasures of Egypt, for he looked forward
and away to the reward (recompense).
11:27 [Motivated] by faith he left Egypt behind him, being unawed
and undismayed by the wrath of the king; for he never
flinched but held staunchly to his purpose and endured
steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible.

11:28 By faith (simple trust and confidence in God) he instituted and
carried out the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood [on
the doorposts], so that the destroyer of the firstborn (the
angel) might not touch those [of the children of Israel].
[Exod. 12:21-30.]
11:29 [Urged on] by faith the people crossed the Red Sea as
on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the
same thing they were swallowed up [by the sea].
[Exod. 14:21-31.]
11:30 Because of faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had
been encompassed for seven days [by the Israelites].
[Josh. 6:12-21.]
11:31 [Prompted] by faith Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed
along with those who refused to believe and obey, because
she had received the spies in peace [without enmity].
[Josh. 2:1-21; 6:22-25.]
The future belongs to you.
You have to take the best out of life.
Many people wonder why they cannot be happy.
One-day things will go better in my life.
One day I will earn more money or would have more money.
One day I will be fitter and will feel healthier.
One day I will surrender to God completely, ect.
Unfortunately One day never comes.
Remember today is the only day that we have. We cannot do anything
about the past and we do not know what the future holds, but you can
life to your full potential.
Enlarge your vision.
Know this, if you think that you will never receive anything good, and
then you won’t. The blockage is in your mind.
Proverbs 23:6-8 – Amplified
23:6 Eat not the bread of him who has a hard, grudging, and envious
eye,
23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says
to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging
the cost].
23:8 The morsel which you have eaten you will vomit up, and your
Complimentary words will be wasted.
Your own negative thoughts can be the stumbling block
that hinders you from receiving God’s best gifts for you.
Enlarge your vision and focus on your life walk on earth.
See your dreams come true. You have to see it and believe that it is
possible to achieve otherwise you will never achieve it.
It is important to have an inner vision of the life that you want to life
outside.
Visualise your success.
Learn to broaden your vision and to look at life through faitheyes.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 – Amplified
10:3 For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our
warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.
10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh
and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and
destruction of strongholds,
10:5 [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings
and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the
[true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose
away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the
Anointed One),
10:6 Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his]
disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a
church] are fully secured and complete.
You must see it in your heart and mind before you will
receive it.
Get rid of the old wineskins.
Years ago wine was not put into bottles but wineskins. Animal skins
were dried, beaten and the skins were prepared until they could be used
as containers for wine. The new wineskins were soft and flexible but
with time they got hard and lost their flexibility. They could not stretch
anymore. If someone would pour new wine into an old wineskin the
skin will burst open and the wine would be lost.
We are caught up in our habits, limited through our vision and blind to
our thoughts. Remember God wants to show you His mercy everyday to
you.
Don’t let your past, family or people limit you. You can achieve much
more than the old or previous generation. Don’t fall into the trap of
excepting like the rest.
Don’t just look after that what you already have, No, you have to reach
for new goals.
The biggest problem is the picture we have of live is wrong and that is
why we say things like; “It will never happen to me. I am not talented
enough. I will never have so much money.” For the one who believes,
everything is possible. Nothing will and may stop you.
But the way we speak tells us of the motives of our hearts, like; “Lord if
you can only help me to hold out in this marriage. or Lord I only ask for
a bit of happiness.
Get rid of the old wineskins. Get rid of the narrow-minded way of
thinking. Think , bigge , think growth, thing abundance.

dae lank omheen getrek was.
11:31 Deur die geloof het Ragab, die hoer, nie saam met die
ongehoorsames omgekom nie, omdat sy die spioene in vrede
ontvang het.
Die toekoms behoort aan jou.
Put die beste uit die lewe.
Baie mense top oor redes waarom hulle nie gelukkig kan wees nie.
Eendag sal dinge in my lewe beter gaan.
Eendag sal ek meer geld verdien of hê.
Eendag sal ek fikser raak en gesonder voel.
Eendag sal ek die Here dien met oorgawe, ens.
Ongelukkig kom eendag nooit nie.
Onthou vandag is jou enigste dag wat ons het. Ons kan niks omtrent die
verlede doen nie. En ons weet nie wat die toekoms inhou nie. Maar jy
kan nou jou potensiaal uitleef.
Verbreed jou visie.
Weet dit; as jy nie dink dat jy ooit iets goeds sal ontvang nie, dan sal jy
nie. Die versperring is in jou verstand.
Spreuke 23:6-8 – Ou Vertaling
23:6 Eet nie die brood van een wat afgunstig is nie, en begeer nie
sy lekker ete nie.
23:7 Want soos hy in sy siel bereken, so is hy; eet en drink, sê hy
vir jou, maar sy hart is nie met jou nie.

vriendelike woorde verspil.
Jou eie negatiewe gedates kan keer dat jy God se beste
gawes ontvang.
Verbreed jou Visie wees gefokus in jou lewenswandel op aarde.
Sien hoe jou drome verwesentlik word. Jy moet ‘n voorstelling daarvan
hê en glo dat dit moontlik is, anders is daar geen hoop dat jy dit sal
bereik nie.
Baie belangrik is om ‘n innerlike beeld te hê van die lewe wat jy uiterlik
wil ervaar.
Visualiseer jou sukses.
Leer om jou visie te verbreed en die toekoms deur geloofsoë te sien.
2 Korintiërs 10:3-6 – Ou Vertaling
10:3 Want hoewel ons in die vlees wandel, voer ons die stryd nie
volgens die vlees nie;
10:4 want die wapens van ons stryd is nie vleeslik nie, maar kragtig
deur God om vestings neer te werp,
10:5 terwyl ons planne verbreek en elke skans wat opgewerp word teen
die kennis van God, en elke gedagte gevange neem tot die
gehoorsaamheid aan Christus,
10:6 en ons gereed hou om elke ongehoorsaamheid te straf wanneer
julle gehoorsaamheid volkome is.
Jy moet jou dit in jou hart en verstand voorstel voordat
jy kan ontvang.
Raak ontslae van die ou wynsakke.
Eeue gelede is wyn in leersakke in plaas van bottles gebêre. Diervelle is
gedroog, gelooi en gebrei tot die leer gebruik kon word om houers vir
wyn te maak. Die nuwe wynsakke was sag en buigsaam, maar
mettertyd het hulle gewoonlik hard en onbuigsaam geword. Hulle kan
nie meer rek nie. As iemand nuwe wyn in ‘n ou wynsak gegooi het, het
die sak gebars en was die wyn daarmee heen.
Ons is vasgevang in ons gewoontes, beperk deur ons uitkyk en verstar in
ons denke. Onthou God wil Sy groot genade elke dag aan jou betoon.
Moenie dat jou verlede of familie of mens jou beperk nie. Jy kan baie
meer bereik as die ou of die vorige generasie! Moenie vasval in die
slaggate van gelate aanvaarding van die status quo nie.
Jy moenie net bloot instandhou wat reeds bereik is nie. Nee, jy moet
nuwe hoogtes bereik.
Maar die probleem is ons prentjie van die lewe is verkeerd daarom sê
ons dinge soos; “Dit sal nooit met my gebeur nie. Ek is nie so talentvol
nie. Ek sal nooit soveel geld hê nie. Vir die een wat glo is alles moontlik.
Niks sal en mag jou stop nie.
Maar die manier hoe ons praat verklap die motiewe van ons hart, nl.
“Here as u my net sal help om uit te hou in hierdie huwelik, of Here as U
my net ‘n verhoging van vyfrand sal gee, sal ek seker vanjaar kan
deurskraap, of Here ek vrae net ‘n bietjie geluk.
Raak ontslae van daardie ou wynsakke. Raak ontslae van daardie
kleinlike manier van dink. Dink praat, Dink groei, Dink oorvloed!!!
