Recycling
The Helix School District will make a concerted effort to conserve its resources. An act of good citizenship
is the conservation of natural resources and energy. Therefore, staff and students will make resource
conservation a part of the school district's physical operation and educational program.
Resource conservation in the school district will be implemented by:
1. Full utilization of materials prior to disposal;
2. Limited use of disposable materials;
3. Limited use of non-biodegradable products.
When it is financially viable, the District will purchase recycled products.
