CLEANING AND REPAIR CHARGES
Tule Apartment owners prefer to return Security Deposits in full, but feel that you ought
to have an idea of the amount and type of charges you may face should you move out in
too much of a hurry to clean the place up yourself or should there be damage to the
property. The following cleaning charges can be expected if the owner is required to do
the cleaning on your behalf when you move out. You may prefer to hire a professional
cleaning service as an alternative. You can call the owner for suggestions on this.
Stove top/Range $40
Refrigerator $30
Kitchen Cupboards, washing inside and out $35
Washing window sills, including tracks $10 each
Clean window coverings $15 each
Washing floors $35 each
Washing walls $30 each
Washing doors $20 each
Vacuuming carpet $10 per room
Cleaning shower, removing deposits on shower surround $50
Washing sink, removing deposits $25
Washing toilet, removing deposits $25
Carpets Professional cost
Replacing light bulbs $5 each
Replace stove top drip pans $15
This list is not all-inclusive but gives you the idea of the type of cleaning charges you can
expect if the owner is required to do the work.
PLEASE CHECK WATTAGE RATING ON FIXTURES WHEN REPLACING LIGHT
BULBS, MANY ARE RATED FOR ONLY 60 WATTS. You will be charged for any
damage due to using bulbs rated at higher wattage than fixtures state.
Owner will repair damages at a rate of $35.00 per hour plus the cost of materials.
Resident will be charged $25.00 per hour plus dump fees for anything Owner is required
to haul to the dump. DO NOT LEAVE items such as furniture, box springs, mattresses,
etc… inside or outside.

I have received a copy of CLEANING AND REPAIR CHARGES and agree that the
charges are fair and reasonable. Accordingly, at the termination of my lease, I agree to
pay for any needed cleaning or repair work at these rates if the work is done by the owner
or at standard professional rates if the work is performed by someone else.
