6th Grade Seven Ancient
Wonders Project
Your challenge is to construct an Ancient Wonder of the World.
Criteria for wonder:
1. Build it using recyclable materials (newspaper, wood, etc.).
2. You may use any adhesives (tape, glue).
3. Dimensions: No smaller than 18” x 18” x 18” and no bigger than 36” x 36”
x 36”.
4. Use information gathered from your textbooks, class discussions and the
internet to design and build your Wonder.
5. You must have a description of the Wonder.
6. As part of the 6th grade Social Studies community, you will be judging
your classmates.
The assignment is 100 points
The winner from each class will be exempt from the next test.
The runner-up will be exempt from the next quiz.
Mr. Delany’s SS class wonders are due Monday, November 28th.
Ms. Bukovatz’s SS class wonder are due Tuesday, November 29th.
