					           EVELYN PARK – WISEMAN MEMORIAL
                    SCHOLARSHIP



XI Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will offer the Evelyn-Wiseman Scholarship, using the
following guidelines:

   1. A female high school student is eligible to apply for this scholarship.
   2. There will be one scholarship given to a high school senior female who plans to
      major in elementary education and is in the top 25% of her class.
   3. Two letters of recommendation will be requested from each applicant. ADK requests
      one letter to be from a faculty member and one from another person who knows the
      applicant well, but is not a relative.
   4. Application forms and recommendations are to be returned to the scholarship chair
      by APRIL 1st. The school of the winner will be notified as soon as the selection is
      made. The winner and a parent/guardian will be invited to the May meeting where
      the scholarship certificate and check will be presented. The winner will be
      recognized at the Honors Program in the school where she attends. The Chapter
      President will present the scholarship or appoint an ADK member to do this
      whenever appropriate and possible.

Include tow RECCOMMENDATIONS with your application. One recommendation should be from a faculty
member and the other from a person who knows you well, other than a relative or friend.
