Identifying You
Please write a brief description of your physical appearance so we may identify you as we
meet you at the airport. Please submit a photo of yourself for our files.
Recommendations:
- A physical exam, including HIV and TB testing.
- See your doctor at least 4-6 weeks before your trip to allow time for
immunizations to take effect.
- Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rabies (optional), Typhoid; as needed, booster
doses for tetanus-diphtheria and measles. (Malaria is not necessary in this part
of Guatemala.)
- Police Report including FBI fingerprints.
- Ability to raise support for room/board - $500 U.S.A. monthly, including funds
for transportation and other personal expenses at Casa Bernabe, $100 U.S. + per
month recommended for personal use.
- A willingness to abide by all rules and guidelines governing Casa Bernabe –
FUNPRONI, see attached form.
