LONE STAR GROUNDWATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF PROPOSED PERMITS AND OF HEARINGS ON PERMIT APPLICATIONS
The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District hereby issues its Proposed Permits referenced in this notice based upon the recommendation
of the General Manager, and upon the completion of the technical review conducted by the District’s General Manager, and consideration of
the applicable criteria of the District’s enabling act, Chapter 36 of the Texas Water Code, and the District’s rules and management plan.
These proposed permits shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in each permit, the District’s rules, and applicable law. A
preliminary Hearing will be held on each proposed permit at 8:00 a.m. on March 13, 2007, in the District’s office at 207 W. Phillips Street,
Suite 300, Conroe, Texas, 77301, in accordance with the District’s rules. Each proposed permit and its underlying application are available
for inspection at the District’s office.
The District’s Board of Directors may deny or grant in full or in part a permit application, and issue a permit in any amount less
than, equal to, or exceeding the amount claimed in the application, based upon the evidence received at the Hearing and
notwithstanding the General Manager’s recommendation.
To protest or otherwise participate in the Hearing on one or more of these applications, a person must appear at the Hearing or
timely submit a Request for Contested Case Hearing in writing to the District that contains the information required by the District's
rules. Written requests for Contested Case Hearing must be received at the District no later than 5:00 p.m. March 12, 2007. Written
requests received after this deadline will not be considered to be timely filed, and will not be further processed by the District. A
person requesting a Contested Case Hearing who is unable to attend the Hearing posted in this notice must submit a written request
for continuance to the District stating good cause for the inability to appear, which may be granted or denied at the discretion of the
Presiding Officer of the District's Board of Directors. Contested Case Hearing Request forms, as well as further information on the
permit applications described herein, may be obtained from the District office at 207 W. Phillips, Suite 300, Conroe, Texas 77305

*INDEX OF ABBREVIATIONS:
The GM'S RECOM. & PPA is the General Manager’s Recommendation and Proposed Permit Amount for each above-referenced application,
based upon the General Manager’s review of all evidence in each application file.
The MHU Claim is the applicant’s Maximum Historic Use representing the applicant’s claimed actual maximum beneficial use of
groundwater during one full calendar year during the period January 1, 1992, through August 26, 2002, or an extrapolated amount if the
applicant’s groundwater production was not commenced until some time during the last calendar year of the Existing and Historic Use Period.
These proposed permits, if issued as final permits, would authorize the permit holder to withdraw and beneficially use groundwater within the
Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District according to the terms and conditions set forth in the permits.

Notice at the District’s office and furnished another copy to the Montgomery County Clerk for posting on the bulletin board at the
