Mini Debate Format
Each side will make an opening statement lasting 1minute that sums up their side of the
argument (either for or against).
The debate will consist of three rounds. Each side will address a key point for 2 minutes per
round. They should collect facts and expert opinions to support their view.
The debate will conclude with a 1 minute closing statement by each side that sums up their
argument.
Example outline:
