Dear Prospective Parents,
Welcome to Wilston State School.
Wilston Kids Care offers on behalf of the Wilston P&C offers Before School, After
School and Vacation Care.
WKC is licensed to care for 150 children. Of this 150, WKC offers 145 places to
students, leaving five positions free to cater for emergency situations. The number of
positions available is the result of the floor space required by law, per child.
If you are interested in enrolling your children in Wilston Kids Care, we recommended
you contact Kaylene or Sarah in the WKC office.
Unfortunately, over the past several years, there has been, more demand for the services
at Wilston Kids Care than available positions.
A waiting list has existed at Wilston Kids Care throughout 2011 and this is not
projected to be different in 2012. Therefore a position within the service cannot be
guaranteed;
A copy of the “Waiting List Policy for After School Care”, can be sourced from
the WKC office;
An “Enrollment Form” can be sourced from the WKC office. WKC recommends
getting this back as early as possible; and,
Wilston Kids care will notify via email if we can accommodate your children by
the 1st November 2011.
