Backing up Firefox Bookmarks
How to back up your bookmarks.
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click on Bookmarks on the Menu bar.
3. Come down to Organize Bookmarks.
4. Click on it.
5. Click on the 3rd button and choose Backup.
If your version of Firefox does not have this
button, click on File and
choose Export Bookmarks.
Save to your Documents folder before you backup
your files.
(To put your bookmarks back, follow click on File
& choose Import Bookmarks. Then choose your file
in the documents folder.)
6. Save the file to your documents folder.
To put your bookmarks back, follow the steps up only on step 5 choose
Restore and select Choose File. Choose the documents folder where it
is saved.
Backing up Bookmarks for Safari
1. Go to File, choose Export Bookmarks.
2. Save to your Documents folder.
To put your bookmarks back, follow click on File & choose Import
Bookmarks. Then choose your file in the documents folder.
