I am not aware of a yacht club protocol for the
number of persons in the honor guard, which is
often based on the number of persons from the
American Legion, Coast Guard Auxilliary,
Power Squadron, Shrine, etc. available to do the
honors. The Navy, however, still maintains
strict protocols according to rank of how many
side boys are stationed. As you might expect,
the president gets 8, the maximum number.

Membership Application of Pleasant Yacht Club
In accordance with Article IV. Section 3 of the Constitution and Bylaws for the Yacht
Clubs of Maryland, I have received and investigated the Membership Application of
Pleasant Yacht Club to join the Yacht Clubs of Maryland.
I have researched their Constitution and Bylaws, their history, and their operation as a
Yacht Club, and find that they satisfy the Yacht Clubs of Maryland requirements for
membership.
Their application is accompanied by a $50 check to cover the application fee, signed by
the Commodore, and by myself on behalf of Yacht Clubs of Maryland.
