Application to Operate
a Recycling Facility
Under section 2 of the Materials Recycling Regulations, a person who carries on the business of the collection or sale of recyclable materials or
operates a recycling facility must do so under the authority of a permit.
Personal information on this form is collected under subsection 3(1) of the Materials Recycling Regulations as it relates directly to and is necessary
for an application for a permit to operate a recycling facility. If you have any questions about the collection of this personal information, you may

This form outlines the minimum information required to request approval to operate a recycling facility. Applicants must also provide
a map or site plan of the property and proposed facility indicating:
a) the locations, description and uses of buildings on the property;
b) areas to be used for outdoor storage of materials.
Please supply as much detail as possible.
