Restriction on Acquisition of Certain Articles Containing Specialty Metals
DFARS 252.225-7009 is a requirement stated in the Naval Sea Systems Command’s
Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) solicitation. This clause is to be included in every
subcontract and purchase order at every tier. This regulation requires that any specialty
metals incorporated in deliverables to be melted in the United States, in a qualifying
country or incorporated in an article manufactured in a qualifying country.
Textron Marine & Land Systems requests all suppliers complete and sign this form to
certify that your company is in full compliance to this DFARS and return completed form
to Lynn Stark at lstark@tmls.textron.com.
Note: It is possible to provide more than one response if you provide more than one
product to Textron Marine and Land Systems, and some are compliant while others are
not. If this is the case, please identify the part numbers that are affected by grouping.
