Request a Book On-line: Using the computer
1. Go to the Internet
2. Type in: www.google.ca
3. Search: Winnipeg Public Library
4. Click on: Winnipeg Public Library System
5. Click on: My Account (Renewal) on the left-hand side of the page
6. Take out your Library Card. Enter the following information:

PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number):

7. Click on: Search the catalogue
8. What book did you see in the library? Type this author’s name.
9. Look at the computer screen. How many books are checked in at the
library?
10. What is one library that has the book?
11. Look at: Request item at the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Do
not request the item, but if you want it, this is where you can order it.
