"Applies to transportable mitre saws intended for cutting non
ferrous metals such as aluminium, wood and similar materials
with a blade diameter not exceeding 400 mm. Tools
comibining the function of mitre saw with the function of
circular saw are not covered by this standard. "

apply to random-orbit polishers and random-orbit sanders.

IEC 61029-2-10 Ed. 1.0 en:1998 Safety of transportable motor-operated electric
tools - Part 2-10: Particular requirements for
cutting-off grinders
This standard applies to cutting-off grinders for cutting metal.
The diameter of the plain abrasive cutting-off wheel is less
than 406 mm.

tools - Part 2: Particular requirements for bench
grinders
Applies to bench grinders with a wheel diameter not exceeding
200 mm and a peripheral speed not exceeding 50 m/s.
