Weight Loss Pills - For or Against

For years people have tried to cheat their way into diets, and speed up the process of losing weight. It is only

natural for us to want to be in shape and fit, but it isn't necessarily 'natural', for us to take Weight Loss Pills.

Many people find them useful, others aren't so sure. In this article, we will try and cover what is good and

bad about them, and whether they are a good idea of not.

First of all, scientists have taken out research on these pills, and do not claim the same benefits and

outcomes as some of the advertisements do. They say the pills aren't labelled as drugs, but instead 'dietary

supplements', and the FDA have announced there is no proof that the pills will have any benefit at all.

Like many dietary programs and herbal supplements, there is a lack of evidence in each of the products, to

show whether they actually work or not. Which makes it a much harder decision for the buyer, when they're

thinking of trying the system out. Most people want to see evidence of things working, or some sort of

clarification, and when there isn't, it's really a gamble.

There have been some cases where people who've tested the pills when dieting and exercising, showing that

it can help speed up the process. Most results were with people using them for about 3 months at a time. But

without the dieting and exercising, it wouldn't have had much affect at all. Tests were shown that when

dieting and exercising, the pill can help a little, but the effectiveness of it is so little that the results can

hardly be seen. So is it worth taking it?

The pills usually have traces of chitosan in them, which come from powdered shrimp sells, other types of

shellfish and crabs. The supplements cling to fat you have eaten, and stop it digesting in your system. There

is a downside to this, as it can stop your body from receiving the fat nutrients it needs to be healthy. Vitamin

A and D plus counteracting fats are all taken away when using the pills, which can actually put your body in

a state of danger to a certain level. On that basis, it's really up to the individual to decide whether these pills

are a good idea or not.

It is recommended if you do decide to use the pills, that you only use them for 3 months. Abusing them will

take away the necessary fuels your body needs, and that would not help you lose weight, it would make you

feel unhealthy and weak.

All in all, the pills have a tiny effect when complimented with dieting and exercising. Yet without they do

nothing noticeable. If you are going to use them, only use them for 3 month periods. The conclusion here is

that really you do not need the weight loss pills, you can get the same results in a healthier manner, just

through dieting and exercising.
