SOUTHERN STARS STANDING RULES AS OF FEBRUARY 5TH, 2002
THESE STANDING RULES ARE ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND IMPLEMENTED
EITHER BY MEMBERSHIP OR BOARD VOTE. THESE RULES ARE NOT IN CONFLICT WITH
OUR BYLAWS NOR SHOULD THEY BE A BYLAW.

1. Meeting dates are scheduled on the 3 Sunday of every other month commencing in
March and ending in September of each year. The board can schedule additional
"special" meetings with 10 days notice to members.
2. Chapter membership dues are $15.00 per year.
3. The Officers on the Board shall be reimbursed for any expenses incurred on behalf of
Southern Stars upon completion of check request form and authorization from the
President and Treasurer. Any expenses over $200.00 must have plurality of board
approval.
4. The Chapter will pay for the President's registration fees and any travel expenses, food
excluded, incurred to attend the IADCCT annual meeting and convention. Should the
President be unable to attend, the board may select another board member to attend in
lieu of the President. The preferred selection would be in order of office.
5. The Chapter will pay up to $75.00 in registration fees for the Vice President, Secretary,
and Treasurer to attend the IADCCT annual meeting and convention. Should there be a
shortage of funds then the reimbursement payment will be made on a sliding scale
according to available funds determined by the board.
6. The Chapter will pay up to $75.00 in registration fees for one chapter member to attend
an IADCCT Regional Education Program. This member will be selected in order of
office, if no officer can attend then any member is eligible by random draw. Should there
be a shortage of funds then this reimbursement payment will not be available.
7. A proposed annual budget will be prepared and presented to the board of directors no

later than February 28 of each year by the Treasurer. The budget will include each
officers/committee chairs budgets. This budget must be approved prior to the March
chapter meeting.
