Analyst, Bodily Injury
These positions provide quality service in the handling of
intermediate to senior level bodily injury tort claims.
Manages and executes BI files according to operational standards
Completes full liability investigations using own resources,
independent adjusters, field representatives, etc.
Gathers necessary information to determine extent of injuries
Sets reserves and monitors active files on a consistent basis
Negotiates and tenders settlements within authority, directly with
claimants and/or their counsel
Assigns and directs legal counsel, where applicable
Attends Discoveries, JDR’s and settlement meetings as required
Clearly displays a commitment to work as part of a team
You are strongly focused on customer satisfaction and quality
service
Your verbal and written communication skills are well developed
You are an experienced negotiator
You are skilled in investigation techniques
You demonstrate strong analytical skills and have an eye for detail
You are well organized, with excellent time management abilities
A minimum of three years of concentrated Bodily injury claims
adjusting experience required.
C.I.P. designation or at least 4 CIP courses (Automobile, Bodily
Injury, Liability, Claims I/II, and Property I) desirable.
