Using the Cost of Ownership Calculator
This calculator has been designed to show the important savings and Pay Back
periods achievable when using the new Titan HT8 Tube. You should be able to use
the calculator to compare a T8 Fluorescent Tube to the Titan HT8 Tube. To get the
correct results, you will need to drop into the highlighted cells below some important
data.
On the Cost of Ownership Calculator sheet, you should change the figures in the
following cells highlighted in Yellow.
Lamp Cost: insert the Clients cost of a Fluorescent Tube and the HT8 Tube
Hours per Year: Insert the number of hours the Lamp will be lit for each year.
Electricity Cost: Insert the cost of the clients Electricity. The default has been set as
£0.12p per Kwhr
Once you have made the changes, everything calculates across automatically.
We have not added in a cost for installation. When you have inserted the figures to
suit the client’s application, you will then have a fairly accurate guide as to the costs
and payback period involved.
