ALEXA
Antiskid treatment
ALEXA treatment is intended for application to surface containing silica. When application is
properly treated ALEXA helps reduce slip injury on all natural stone floors surface and also
removes dirt from hard-to-reach surface spots. This liquid treatment increases the co-efficient
of friction and the safety of the surface when wet. ALEXA treatment is simple applicable with
low odor and constant surface look. One application lasts up to five years.
Using and Dispensing:
Suitable for following surfaces:
ceramic, mosaic, granite, marble, terrazzo, concrete, quarry tile, porcelain tile, slate, glazed
brick and other stone or mineral surfaces.
Typical applications:
Restaurants, hotels, motels, pensions, houses, cottages, shops, supermarkets, hospitals,
nursing homes, spas, cultural and office buildings, food processing plants, swimming pools,
sport facilities and others. It can be used indoors and outdoors.
ALEXA treatment is not suitable for synthetic surfaces containing chemical bitumen
mastic, paint, glass fibres or acrylates. Surface for application can be softly wet but not
watery. Wax forms barrier between treatment and floor surface, so it is important to
remove all impurities before application.
Do not apply to surface with direct sun shining, treatment can occurring unwanted
spots. It is important to cool down warm surfaces before application then wipe off
overflowing water.
In some cases can ALEXA treatment reduce gloss of surface especially to high glazed floors.
ALWAYS TEST SMALL AREA OF SURFACE FOR RIGHT ACTION TIME ESTIMATE, IN
SOME CASES ALSO FOR REDUCTION LEVEL OF GLOSS.

Recommended ALEXA treatment action times by type of surface
SURFACE RECOMMENDED TIME
Porcelain tile 1-5 min.
Marble/Granite 10-20 min.
Terazzo 10-30 min.
Quarry tile 15-30 min.
Glazed brick 15-30 min.
Slate 30-45 min.
Ceramic tile 5-20 min.
Mosaic tile 5-20 min.
Test of surface:
- choose a small area of surface (10x10cm) out of way for a test of ALEXA
treatment
- pour off 1 or 2dcl from ALEXA product package to small plastic container sized
by paintroller (do not pour directly on surface)
- apply ALEXA treatment by paintroller for time 5-10 min. (application must be
uniform in whole area for identical level of gloss)
- use water to wash down ALEXA from tested area and wipe, check look of
surface, use water to wet slightly again and try by hand or foot if tested area is
adequate antiskid, when effectiveness level is low, repeat previous step as many
times as is necessary for desired level of slip free
- sum of action time intervals gives recommended one-shot action time of ALEXA
treatment for whole area
Application procedure:
- application coverage for 1l doze ALEXA treatment is cca 12-15 m2
- maximum operation time for ALEXA treatment is 60 min., no more!
- properly wipe surface of application area
- put on rubber gloves, respirator and protective glasses
- remove a grease by purifying KOBALA treatment, this step prepare surface for
ALEXA treatment application
- use KOBALA treatment and make neutralization formula by instructions on
KOBALA label and put it into plastic bucket with water
- use a wider container sized by paintroller, full it into one half with ALEXA
treatment and apply ALEXA by paintroller to whole application area
- leave ALEXA treatment take effect for action time which was defined by test and
ensure that whole area are continuously wet by ALEXA treatment, if not use
paintroller for dry skips (application must be uniform in whole area for identical
level of gloss and also for effective antiskid)
- after the lapse of defined action time use water to wash down ALEXA from
whole area and then apply prepared KOBALA neutralization formula by mop to
whole area
- at the end of procedure wash off whole application area by water for few times
and wipe off
Solicitude for long-lasting antiskid effect:
Surface applied by ALEXA antiskid and purifying treatment need to have advanced
solicitude. It is recommended to use purifying KOBALA treatment for surface washing off,
because KOBALA formula is designed especially for surfaces applied by ALEXA, so it is the
best solicitude for long-lasting antiskid effect.
Ingredients: Phosphoric acid 5-15%, Ammonium fluoride less then 5%
Important notice: C caustic
Causes serious acid burns. Sweep spilled substance into covered containers and keep out of
reach of children. Use rubber gloves and eye/face protection. In case of accident or if you feel
unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Material safety
data sheet is available. Keep in original, well covered containers, in dry good ventilated place.

KOBALA
Surface purifier, degreaser and neutralization formula
KOBALA is surface purifier, degreaser and neutralization formula. KOBALA is designed
especially for using to surfaces applied by ALEXA antiskid treatment. By virtue of used
ingredients is effective in removing grease and in depth surface purifying. When is dispensed
as recommended KOBALA purifier can neutralize surface treated by other chemicals.
KOBALA purifier is simple applicable with low odor and constant surface look.
Using and Dispensing:
Suitable for following surfaces:

Dispensing by type of use
When use for removing grease or preparation
to ALEXA antiskid treatment application.
Degreasing Recommended: 100ml KOBALA / 10l water,
If degreasing was not effective use
concentrated alkaline purifier.
For ALEXA treatment application. It is
recommended at first wash off surface by
Neutralization water and then use KOBALA for
neutralization.
Recommended: 50ml KOBALA / 10l water
Common purifying For common purifying is recommended:
10-20ml KOBALA / 10l water
For deep purifying is recommended:
50-100ml KOBALA / 10 l water
Recommended operation time is 10-15 min.
Deep purifying By virtue of used ingredients is KOBALA
effective in removing all surface impurities.
Please read carefully notice about used
ingredients.
Notice: KOBALA can be mixed only with cold water. Do not apply directly to surface
treated by ALEXA or else acid. Treated surface must be wash off by water before KOBALA
solution is used. KOBALA contains chlorine so do not use with acid chemicals, poison gas
hazard!
