BTW Service
Service indicator lights and messages displayed on the instrument panel let you know when
maintenance is needed for your BMW. Up to five green lights, and one yellow and one red light
may appear. Service types are either Oil Service or Inspection. After you turn on the ignition
key, the service lights appear. They go off after the engine is started.
After your last service, five green lights are displayed. As you drive, fewer and fewer green lights
appear. When only one green light is shown, the time for your next service is near. Eventually the
last green light is replaced with a yellow light and one of the service types, Oil Service or
Inspection. If this occurs, call German Motors to schedule your service.
If the car is not serviced, the yellow and red lights appear together with the service type to let you
know your service is overdue. Call German Motors to schedule your service without further
delay.
The table below provides a general service interval guideline for BTW automobiles. Call German
Motors if you have questions regarding the service needed for your car.
