To Begin
1 Insert SD Card into the slot
2 Connect the mini DVR to a power source
3 Turn the mini DVR on with the switch at the side
4 Install the bracket and mount the mini DVR into its intended position
5 Adjust the mini DVR to face the area you want to monitor(Please note that the
mini DVR detection range is approx 8m)
To Arm and Disarm the system
1 Please first activate the remote control. Take a small pin and press “Code” at the
rear of the mini DVR. Then press any key on the remote control. You will hear a
verification sound from the DVR this is to say that the remote control was
activated successfully.
2 To arm/disarm
Using the remote control please press A to arm and B to disarm
Using the control panel on the rear of the DVR, press and hold the “REC”
button to arm and press the “REC” button to disarm.
3 The red and green light will go off when the system is armed. The Mini DVR will
start detecting approx 15 seconds after you arm it
Recording
1. Using the remote control to set
Press “C” to start recording
Press “D” to stop recording
2. Using the control panel on the rear of the DVR, press and hold the “REC” button to
arm and press the “REC” button to disarm.
The green light will flash when it is recording and will continue to record until you manually
stop it either with the remote control or by pressing the rec button at the rear of the Mini
DVR.
Playback
1 Playback using a TV or Monitor
a) Connect the mini DVR to the TV using the AV cable provided
b) Turn the TV to AV Mode
c) Select the playback icon from the menu using the rear control panel
d) Then use the + - and the left and right buttons to choose the videos you want to
playback then press ok to play.
e) Press “A” to fast forward and press “B” to rewind.
Setup
1 Time
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to
adjust and then press ok to accept
2 NTSC/PAL
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to
adjust and then press ok to accept and return to main menu.
3 Sound
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to turn
sound on and off and then press ok to accept
4 Default
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to
adjust and then press ok to accept
5 Overwrite
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to set
overwrite function on/off and then press ok to accept
6 Connect
Press left and right on the rear panel to choose your item, press + and – to
adjust and then press ok to accept. The mini DVR Camera will transmit a
wireless signal once you press ok, this can be recognised by an alarm host
providing the frequencies are compatible.
To charge
Mini DVR comes with a built in lithium battery. When the red light flashes it means that the
camera is low on power and needs to be recharged, please use power supply provided to
recharge. It takes approx 6 hours to recharge.
Reset the DVR.
If the Mini DVR Camera shuts down and will not restart please use the reset button at the
rear to reset the camera.
