The US Lacrosse Camp Scholarship Program provides summer lacrosse camp opportunities for children
between the ages of 6-18 (see age definition below) who have financial need. These scholarships are
made possible through generous tuition waivers by camp directors across the country.
Application requirements: (please read carefully before filling out application!)
PROSPECTIVE CAMPER MUST HAVE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP
Any child between the ages of 6-18 may apply for any of the available camp scholarships listed
on the US Lacrosse website (camps not listed on the website did not donate scholarships to this
program).
AGE DEFINITION: Players may not be 18 years of age before December 31, 2009 to be eligible for
the 2010 US Lacrosse Camp Scholarship Program. Accordingly, players that turn 18 after December
31, 2009 are eligible. Players must turn 6 years old by December 1, 2010.
Applicants must list their order of preference for camps and must include at least one camp
within their local US Lacrosse chapter area (if a camp is available in the chapter area).
Applicants listing a camp within their chapter area as their first or second choice will get priority
consideration for that camp.
**PLEASE NOTE: It is the intention of US Lacrosse to fulfill as many qualified applicants’
requests as possible and to provide all qualified applicants with camp scholarships, however, all
applicants’ preferences may not be able to be accommodated.
Application instructions:
Section 1: to be completed in full by perspective camper.
Applicants must attach a letter of recommendation from coach or community leader.
Section 2: to be completed in full by parent or legal guardian.
