Episode 6: Doom disables the Orbs and Mynx finds Keel.
Episode Name: Orb

Fade in to the Arena control room.
Doom: Ok I need to find one of these Orbs and take down the network.
He clicks through some data on the screen.
Doom: I can probably find one in any one of these arenas.
Mynx: Do you care about her?
Doom stops and hangs his head as at the computer fustrated.
Doom: Look. I think it’d be a great idea if you went and recruited some more good guys. We
need a lot more firepower than we have now.
Mynx: I guess that answers my question.
She pushes some buttons on the computer
Mynx: I’ll go round up some good guys. (sarcastic)
Doom is silent as she teleports out.
Doom: Women…
He finds an arena he wants and teleports out.
Cut to Mynx in Arena
The arena is run down. There are no automated voices. It looks like noone has been there for
a long time.
Mynx: What the hell.
She walks forward and examines the room she’s currently in. The stone walls are grey and
chipped. Broken and rubble is everywhere. Burn marks on the walls and blood stains show
that the Arena rules are off. There is no re-generation.
Mynx: Damn it. This place isn’t humming.
Suddenly from the distance she hears a whine. It’s distance but she follows the noise.
Mynx: Hello?
She walks a few rooms further before coming upon a larger room with bricks and rubble,
stones and broken walls. A huge gladiator is laying up against a wall. His half human\half
mechanical breathing is weak. Half of his face is missing and his armor is brutally beaten and
burned.
Mynx: Oh my god…
Cut to Doom’s Arena
Doom walks slowly around a corner. The arena he chose is empty.
Doom: Here Orby Orby. Where are you…
He walks into a room and keeps his back turned while listening for the almost invisible hum of
the cameras watching him.
He spins quickly and with his rail gun he snipes the Orb out of the sky. It falls to the ground
with a crash and a burst of fluid and blood. The orbs are mutant eyeball systems that run on
a blood system and have a functional mind. With it they act as the perfect cameras for the
Vadrigar.
Doom walks up to the spherical body.
Doom: Well that’s just disgusting. He kicks a piece of the Orb as it sizzles and sparks.
Doom: That should bring down the network. Let’s hope that little bastard was telling the
truth.
Cut to Mynx’s Arena
Mynx kneels next to Keel.
Mynx: You’re a mess.
She touches his armor and Keel tries to speak. All that comes out of his voice are sad whines.
He moves his hand to the dust in the ground and begins to scribble. Mynx watches. He draws
out the word Elite.
Mynx: Xaero did this to you…
Keel gasps and nods his head.
Doom tele’s into the Arena at this moment.
Doom: The network was dead so I couldn’t see what was going on in here. Taking down that
Orb worked. He sees Keel.
Doom: What the hell.
Mynx: Xaero used him for target practice. Then shut off the rules. They left the poor bastard
to die like this.
Doom: Jesus.
Keel whines and points to a machine gun laying in the rubble.
Mynx: We can’t leave him like this.
Doom: Head back and help the others. Tell them the Orb’s are down. They need to get
prepared.
Mynx nods and looks at Keel.
Mynx: It’ll be over soon.
She stands up and teleports out.
Doom looks at Keel and picks up the machine gun.
Doom: Xaero’s dead. I killed the bastard.
Keel gives him a very slow thumbs up. And his arm falls to his side. Too weak to move.
Doom: We’ll get em’, brother.
He aims the machine gun and fires a round into Keel’s head. Keel finally dies and is released
from the Arenas.
Doom throws the machine gun down.
Doom: Sigh’s with disgust.
Doom: I’m sending this place to hell… And hell always has a table for me.
He teleports out.
