Lesson Plan:
1. Students will be given a choice to either interview a graduate from St.
Augustine’s College or choose a person from the distinguished alumni list.
2. Students will need to gather information about the person that they have
selected. They can interview, video, or use Internet access to gather the
information.
3. Students will need to write a research paper on their chosen alumni.
4. Students will then be asked to be creative and present their findings to
their peers. They can do a reenactment, oral presentation, or a visual
presentation.
Evaluation and Assessment:
1. Here is a suggested rubric to help guide formal and informal assessment
of student knowledge and abilities.
