Current Scope of Practice
Diana Geseking concentrates her practice in the areas of complex litigation, products liability, insurance and
commercial litigation. Ms. Geseking’s commercial practice involves a wide range of commercial and business
disputes, including copyright and trademark infringement, antitrust violations, real estate disputes, eminent
domain actions, contract issues, landlord-tenant matters and insurance coverage defense. Ms. Geseking has
also represented client in consumer class actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and
various state consumer fraud and unfair business practices statutes.
Ms. Geseking’s products liability practice involves defending retailers and manufacturers in state and federal
court across the country. She has represented manufacturers of nutritional products, healthcare equipment,
motor vehicles and other consumer and industrial products. Ms. Geseking recently helped procure summary
judgment on behalf of a national corporation in a claim involving serious injuries to an infant.

Ms. Geseking is admitted to practice in California, Illinois and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. She is
also admitted to the following U.S. District Courts: the Northern District of California and the Northern,
Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois.
She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, The Defense Research Institute, The Illinois State Bar
Association, The Bar Association of San Francisco, and The American Bar Association.

Education
Ms. Geseking graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007 where she was an associate
editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law and an elected member of the Law School Student Senate for
three consecutive years. Ms. Geseking graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Amherst College in
2003.
