All Ring Event Rules
Waivers- We ask all entrants and persons entering the arena to sign a waiver please. If
you are not willing to sign a waiver please don’t enter the arena.
It is a condition of entry that Indemnity waivers are signed by Competitors.
All riders participate at their own Risk
Drugs- It is forbidden to administer any stimulant or depressant to a horse, or to cause
one to be administered in any way whatsoever, whether before the start of a
competition or on the previous day/s, under maximum penalty of disqualification for
the life of the owner, rider, horse and groom. The Association may make or cause to be
made, any test of any exhibit, and may take possession of any such exhibit for any of the
aforesaid purpose and detain such horse for such period as is deemed necessary.
High Possibility of Drug Testing to be carried out during the show period.
To comply with PAYG legislation- where prizemoney for an individual event exceeds
$50, the recipient will be required to either provide an ABN no. or sign a Statement of
Supplier Form (as a hobbyist). When Competitors do not comply, Forbes P A &H
Association will be obliged to withhold 48.5% of the prizemoney.
Protests- All Protests must be handed to the Chief Steward with a non-refundable
deposit of $50.00
Stallions- can not be shown in classes, unless otherwise stated and must be kept under
control at all times. All colts or stallions 2 years and over, must have a bit in their
mouth on parade, and must not be led by a person under 17yrs.
Rules;
All riders and Leaders must be suitably attired, no jogging shoes etc allowed.
Exhibitors on Show days must compete in headwear applicable to the event in which
they are competing (leading or riding).
All exhibitors under 17 yrs of age on show day must compete in headwear applicable to
the event in which they are competing.
Altering the Programme- The committee reserves the right to alter, delete or add to
this programme.
HORSE STALL AND CAMPING BOOKING
Forbes PA&H Association request that all bookings of stables and camping are
accompanied by full payment for stabling and camping. The Forbes Show
society would appreciate full payment within 14 days of booking stables and
camping, as stable allocation will be made upon receipt of full payment.
1. Horse stall for three (3) Nights of show (Thurs, Fri, Sat) - $15.00
2. Camping for three (3) Nights of show (Thurs, Fri, Sat) - $30.00 per powered
site
3. Pre and Post camping $15.00 per night (per outfit, per powered site).
4. Pre and Post stabling $6 per stable per night-(three nights of show Thursday,
Friday, Saturday, all other nights camping $15 per night, Stable $6 per night)
5. Payment to be forwarded with application, no refund on cancellations made after
Monday 1st of September 2010.

Run under EFA Ruling
We ask all entrants and persons entering the arena to sign a waiver please. If you are
not willing to sign a waiver please don’t enter the arena.
Entries may be taken from 2.00pm to 4.30pm the day before the show at the entry tent
in the arena. We ask the riders at the showground to enter Thursday afternoon as this
would help free up Friday morning taking entries and allow us to be on time.
Please Note: On Saturday afternoon there will be Harness racing starting at 2pm,
And all horses must leave the arena while each race is run as there is no arena fence
between the arena and trotting track. Also the Smash Up Derby is to run at 4pm.
Leaving not much time to run the last class. The C&D Grade Power &Speed will only
be run time permitting. So please riders get organized and put your entries in early so
we can have the draws done, and keep rolling in. Any help in the arena would be
appreciated.
No hors con course permitted in the Junior Events, But we will considered Hors Con
Course time permitting in the other classes.
We ask that all camping competitors who haven’t booked stables to park in the area
which has been fenced toward the south, western side of the showground as close to
each other as possible, please keep your yards to a minium. We have a large number
of day parkers to accommodate and they will be taking up the whole area of the North
western end of the horse parking area.

against the clock, Second round against the clock and starting order is reverse order of

Eligible Champions-
any horse winning a Champion or Reserve Champion award in one ring, is unable to compete in

accompanied by full payment for stabling and camping. The Forbes Show society would
appreciate full payment within 14 days of booking stables and camping, as stable
