Denison Consulting, LLC is offering a unique opportunity to work with an in-house IT support
team. At Denison Consulting, we strive to use the best solution for the task in hand. This leads

opportunities to learn about systems integration and management.
Your daily tasks will involve assisting with the management of a small sized heterogeneous
network comprising of 40 Windows laptops/workstations/servers, wired and wireless
environments and encompasses numerous technologies, operating systems and software
packages.
Basic Technical Duties:
Maintain inventory of workstation equipment and supplies.
Receive setup, deliver, maintain, upgrade and install user systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide variety of issues, make adjustments, repairs and/or
perform preventative maintenance regarding computer hardware, operating systems,
peripheral devices and software applications.
Maintain high level of client satisfaction and timely resolution to problems and issues.
Assist with IT Documentation.
Other duties as required.
Hours of Work:
Approximately 20 hours per week Monday – Friday. We are flexible on your schedule in order
to accommodate classes. This is a paid internship.
Your Expertise:
You are enrolled as a second semester junior, senior, or graduate student and have a strong
aptitude for Computer Science/Information Technology and have previous exposure to all or
some of the following: SQL, Databases, Windows XP/7, Windows Server 2003/2008, Office
2003/07, networking and general Technical Support. You possess excellent oral and written
communications skills and are able to work effectively both individually and with others.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to work in a team
environment are essential. Student must have awareness of the PC Industry’s current and
emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based
information systems and technology. Interested applicants should possess excellent analytical
skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
Candidates should have the ability to research and understand technical documentation as well as
an understanding of how to apply various technical resources.
Requirements:
A minimum 3.0 grade point average is required.
