Our Rooms
Room 1:      First floor double room with en-suite shower room. Courtesy tray and flat screen
Freeview television.

Room 2: First floor twin or super king room, with en-suite shower room. Courtesy tray and flat
screen Freeview television.


     Single occupancy of twin room or double room from £50
     Three day minimum bookings for public and bank holiday weekends, Spirit of the Sea
      Festival, Christmas and New Year
     Two day minimum booking for weekends during July – September
     Sorry our facilities are not suitable for toddlers and young children
     Sorry no pets
     Non-smoking premises
     We accept cash, most major credit cards (3% surcharge for credit cards)
     Balances and any payment are due to be settled on arrival, we accept most major credit
      cards (3% surcharge for Credit Card), traveller’s cheques in sterling and cash.
     Tariff is subject to change without prior notice


Terms and Conditions
Prices
Our tariffs are for your accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. Any extra services will be
charged accordingly. We accept the following forms of payment – cash, debit card, credit card.
Credit cards incur a surcharge of 3%.

Cancellation Policy
Up to three (3) nights - can be secured with Credit/Debit card details. There will be no cancellation
fee if a booking is cancelled before 14:00 hotel local time, 1 day before your date of arrival. The
cancellation fee would be equal to the first night’s tariff. In the case of a no show, there will be no
refund.

Over three (3) nights - a deposit will be required at time of booking. There will be no cancellation
fee if a booking is cancelled before 14:00 hotel local time, 2 day before your date of arrival. The
cancellation fee would be equal to the first night’s tariff. In the case of a no show, there will be no
refund.
NB: The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE should you cancel your booking.

Failing to take up your booking without cancelling renders you liable for the total amount of your
stay. Having to terminate your reserved stay renders you liable for the balance of any monies due
for your complete visit. It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance, which can be obtained from
any good insurance broker.

Non-availability
We would only ever cancel your booking if your accommodation became unavailable for reasons
beyond our control. We would always attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if
this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund ALL monies paid by you. Our
liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Children
Babies and young children are not accepted as the accommodation is not suitable.

Pets
Sorry we do not accept pets.

Parking
There is limited parking available for guests. Where parking is available, no more than one car per
room. Please call us in advance to check availability.

Check in / Check out Times

Check in time is 12.00 – 17.00 (unless otherwise arranged).

Check out is by 11am on the day of departure.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care with our accommodation and keys. Should a set of keys be lost, it will be necessary
to change external and room locks and we reserve the right to charge you for this. You are
responsible and liable for any breakages or damage, which you cause, to the accommodation or its
contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. For minor damage we will do not always
charge, but we may charge you for or send you an invoice for repair or making good, if the damage
or breakage is significant.

No-smoking Policy
The Queens Hotel is a totally non-smoking establishment. We will make a charge of one night's tariff
for any room where smoking has occurred during a guest’s stay.

Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any
vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees
or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Data Protection Privacy Policy
The Queens Hotel is a trading style of Roughton Alliance Limited who operates and is registered in
accordance with the Data Protection Legislation. Any data collected about you may be held on
computer. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing
purposes.

From time to time this Privacy Policy may be update or amended, please refer to the Privacy Policy
on a regular basis so that you are aware of any changes.
