Sing it loud and sing it proud!
Where to Inquire
Everybody has questions,
Some are big; some are small
How does a sturdy oak grow so high?
Spiders spin delicate webs. How and why?
Never be afraid to inquire.
Just ask someone who might know.
Or go look it up in a book.
Watch your smart self grow.

Sentences
• The characters in The Strongest One talk just like real
people. When I look at the sentences said by the
characters, I notice that some are short and some are
longer. Some are questions, some are exclamations,
and some are statements. Using different kinds of
sentences makes the words the characters say sound
realistic. Here are some sentences that Snow says:
•
• Sun is stronger. When Sun shines on me, I melt
away. Here it comes!
• What different kinds of sentences does Snow use here?
• Are the lengths of sentences the same or different?
