March 17 & 18 Shoot for the Cure – Sporting clay tournament held at WW Sporting Clays followed by lunch
and an awards presentation. The kickoff dinner will be Monday, March 17th at Morocco
Shrine Center with a low country boil, live entertainment and various auction opportunities.
April 12 Palm Coast Great Strides ~ Linear Park
April 19 Gainesville Great Strides ~ Westside Park
Tallahassee Great Strides ~ Maclay Gardens State Park
April 26 Clay County Great Strides ~ Orange Park Kennel Club
May 3 Hanna Park Great Strides ~ Atlantic Beach
May 15 Riverwalk Great Strides ~ The Crowne Plaza, Jacksonville Riverfront
May 17 St. Augustine Great Strides ~ Anastasia State Park
June 6 65 Roses Golf Tournament ~ Played at the beautiful Slammer & Squire at World Golf
Village. Post tournament awards reception and auction in the legendary World Golf Hall of
Fame.
September TBA Hallmark Partners Tailgate 2008 ~ Kickoff to a Cure ~ This event combines two of
Jacksonville’s favorite past times: food and football. Enjoy gourmet tailgate fare while
watching the Jaguars on the plasma screens at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium’s Terrace Suite.
October TBA Calvin Klein golf - Links for Life Golf Classic – Played at Amelia National Golf Course in
Fernandina Beach. Post tournament awards reception at beautiful Amelia National Club
House.
October 10 & 13 First American Title Insurance Company Golf Tournament & Martini Party ~ This event
is played at SouthWood in Tallahassee. The pre-event martini party at Dorothy B. Oven Park
will include martini samplings, a silent auction and live entertainment.
October TBA Moonlight Martinis ~ an eclectic martini event - this upscale cocktail party offering guests a
martini sampling and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Live music and auctions round out the evening.
October 23- 25 The Oldest City Red-Trout Classic ~ A Redbone Tournament Series. Angler teams pair with
a guide to enjoy two days of inshore fishing for redfish & trout. The Captain’s Dinner will be
on Thursday, Nov 23rd. All other festivities will take place at King Fish Grill.
November 8 Gainesville Tailgate ~ Kickoff to a Cure ~ The Saturday fun will offer guests the opportunity
to tailgate with foods from local restaurants while cheering on the Gators and their own
Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow, as they battle Vanderbilt for victory. .
November 21 Single Greatest Night ~ This is an evening honoring Jacksonville’s finest singles for their
commitment to community & charity. The event offers a night of dinner, dancing, & awards
held at the Marriott Sawgrass Resort.
