A. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret, of JoAnne Priest, 3rd grade teacher at Oaks Elementary, due to
accepting a position at another school district, effective August 28, 1998.
B. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret of Kathy Hungate, 3rd grade teacher at Oaks Elementary, effective
August 28, 1998. Ms. Hungate has accepted a position in another school
district.

C. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret of Claire Jones, 4th grade teacher at Oaks Elementary, due to
accepting a position at another school district, effective August 26, 1998.
D. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation , with

G. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret, of C. Kara Loughery, school psychologist, effective date contingent
upon completion of cases in process and obtaining a full time replacement.
H. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret, of Frances Valerio, food service employee at the middle school,
effective August 31, 1998.
I. Administration recommends the acceptance of the resignation, with
regret, of Gloria Bollinger, secretary to the Assistant Business Manager, due
to personal reasons, effective July 10, 1998.
J. Administration recommends for approval a maternity/childrearing leave
of absence for Gail P. Carr, 4th grade teacher at Limerick Elementary,
effective approximately October 31, 1998. Ms. Carr’s expected due date is
November 14. She is requesting a childrearing leave after the birth for the
remainder of the 1998/99 school year.
K. Administration recommends for approval an extended childrearing
leave of absence for Elizabeth Corcoran, middle school teacher. Ms.
Corcoran was approved for a leave for the first semester of the 1998/99
school year and is requesting an extension for the full 1998/99 school year.
L. Administration recommends for approval a maternity/childrearing leave
of absence for Christine Egitto, kindergarten teacher at Limerick
Elementary, effective for the 1998/99 school year. Ms. Egitto’s expected due
date is September 4, 1998.

M. Administration recommends for approval a maternity/childrearing
leave of absence for Rita Freed, 1st grade teacher at Brooke Elementary,
effective August 28, 1998. Ms. Freed’s expected due date is September 25.
N. Administration recommends for approval an extended childrearing
leave of absence for Tammy Purnell, 2nd grade teacher at Royersford
Elementary, until the end of the second quarter of the 1998/99 school year.
O. Administration recommends for approval the increase of time from .7
to 1.0 for Mary Mundy, music teacher at Spring City Elementary. Ms.
Mundy will complete her schedule by teaching the new instrumental and vocal
music classes approved at the Royersford and Limerick Elementary Schools.
P. Administration recommends for approval Dina Schlichter, instructional
assistant at Royersford Elementary, to be hired for the Summer Library
Program at Royersford Elementary, retroactive to June 23 through July 30.
Compensation was set at $10.55 per hour.
Q. Administration recommends for approval Shirley Barto, instructional
assistant at Spring City Elementary, to be hired for the Summer Library
Program at Oaks Elementary, retroactive to June 30 through August 6.
Compensation was set at $10.55 per hour.
R. Administration recommends approval for an additional .6 library
staffing for the district. Currently, we have been unable to fill a .4 position,
and our needs have increased due to class scheduling.
S. Administration recommends approval of a new learning support
class at the Middle School due to increased enrollment since the June
budget was passed.
T. Administration recommends approval of a new Instructional
Assistant at the middle school to work one on one with a special needs
student as dictated by the IEP.
U. Administration recommends approval for a .5 instructional assistant
at Brooke Elementary to provide one-on-one services for a student as
dictated by the IEP.
V. Administration recommends increasing time for Janet Espensen,
instructional assistant at Brooke, from .5 to 1.0 to work one-on-one with a
student as dictated by the IEP.
W. Administration recommends approval of the job description and new
position of the Supervisor of Operations and Facilities.

X. Administration recommends approval for upgrading Barry Ziegler’s
maintenance position to Supervisor of Operations and Facilities.
Compensation will be set at $44,200 with administrative benefits, effective
August 24, 1998.
Y. Administration recommends approval of Mark Drenning as an
Independent Contractor for Case Management Services to work with a
student who receives special education services, effective July 24, 1998 until
June 30, 1999. Compensation will not exceed $20,000.
Z. Administration recommends approval of Devereux (CARES) as an
Independent Contractor to provide Discrete Trial Training as mandated
through IEP development for all personnel teaching or assisting in the two
Autistic Support classes. This will include three (3) teachers and four (4)
assistants. Compensation will be $2500 for the initial five (5) day training
and nine (9) monthly follow-up consultation days at $650 each ($5850) for a
total of $8350. Effective August 17, 1998 through May 29, 1999.
AA. Administration recommends approval of Reesa Wurtz, Ed.D., as
an Independent Contractor to perform School Psychological Services,
effective July 1, 1998 until June 30, 1999. Compensation will be $298/day
to a maximum of 145 days ($43,280).
BB. Administration recommends approval of Touch of Music as an
Independent Contractor for the provision of music therapy for a student who
receives special education services. Effective date is August 31, 1998 to
June 30, 1999 with compensation not to exceed $2,015. ($35/hr for 39
sessions; $250/10 summary reports; $400 for 10 hours of meetings; as
dictated by the IEP)
CC. Administration recommends approval of Edith L. Kovach, as an
Independent Contractor for Physical Therapy Services for special needs
students as dictated by the IEP’s. Effective date is August 31, 1998 to June
30, 1999 with compensation set at $50 per 30 minute session and IEP’s;
$115 per evaluation to a maximum of $72,575.
DD. Administration recommends approval of Tracy Lapreziosa, as an
Independent Contractor for Occupational Therapy. Effective date of
employment August 31, 1998 to June 30, 1999 with compensation set not to
exceed $115,755 ($107/evaluation; $47.50/intervention; $50/hr home visits;
$40.50/hr report writing).
EE. Administration recommends approval of Jeannette Hellauer,
Limerick, PA as a Professional Employee for the newly created Autistic
Support position at Limerick Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms.
Hellauer earned her Elementary certification from Shippensburg University

and Special Education certification from Penn State University. She has
been employed with the Norristown Area School District. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $37,300 BS +
18, step 8.
FF. Administration recommends approval of Sandra Hoff, Royersford, PA
as a Professional Employee for Grade 4, Brooke Elementary replacing Ann
Seislove who retired. Ms. Hoff is a graduate of Millersville University with
certification in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. She has been a
Long-term and per diem Substitute with the district since 1995 and previously
worked for Tredyffrin/Easttown S.D. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $31,500, BS+18, Step 3.
GG. Administration recommends approval of Cheryl Kuszyk, Pottstown,
PA as a Professional Employee for the newly created .6 Art position at Spring
City Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms. Kuszyk is a graduate of
Kutztown University with certification in Art Education. She was employed
with Reading School District and Boyertown Area S.D. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $32,500,
Masters, Step 3, prorated for time worked.
HH. Administration recommends approval of Jamie Markley, Eagleville, PA
as a Professional Employee for the newly created .5 kindergarten position at
Limerick Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms. Markley is a graduate
of the University of Delaware with certification in Early Childhood Education.
She worked for Spring-Ford prior to raising her family. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $29,500, BS,
Step 2, prorated for time worked.
II. Administration recommends approval of Shawn Riordan, Langhorne,
PA as a Professional Employee for the newly created 7th grade Learning
Support position in the Middle School due to increased enrollment. Mr.
Riordan is a graduate of Kutztown University with certification in Elementary
and Mentally &/or Physically Handicapped. Mr. Riordan was previously
employed with Southeast Delco S.D. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $32,500, BS, Step 5.
JJ. Administration recommends approval of Tricia Steckel, Whitehall, PA
as a Professional Employee for 7th Grade Mathematics in the Middle School
replacing Sandra Myers who resigned. Ms. Steckel is a graduate of
Bloomsburg University with certification in Mathematics. She was previously
employed with Bellefonte Area S.D. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $33,700, BS+18, Step 5.
KK. Administration recommends approval of the following individuals as
Temporary Professional Employees:

Susan Bair, Bethlehem, PA, for the Gifted Education position in the
Senior High School. This position is a new .5 position and a replacement
for the .5 position held by Arminty Brewer, who was transferred to an
English position. Ms. Bair is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with
certification in Social Studies. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500, BS, Beginning level.
Francine Caputo, Wynnewood, PA as School Psychologist replacing
Kara Loughery. Ms. Caputo is a graduate of Duquesne University with a
BA in Psychology and a Masters in School Psychology. Her certification
is as a School Psychologist. She was previously employed with Upper
Darby S.D. and other educational institutions as a school psychologist.
Effective date of employment will be July 30, working 189 days over a 12
month period. Compensation was set at $46,000, Masters +30, Step 10.
Heather Crist, Shillington, PA for the new position of Grade 5 at Spring
City Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms. Crist is a graduate of
Indiana University of PA with certification in Elementary Education.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Josephine Datis, Ardsley, PA teaching the newly created .5 Spanish
Position in the high school due to increased enrollment. Ms. Datis is a
graduate of Temple University with certification in Spanish. Effective date
of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $30,500,
Masters, Beginning Level, prorated for time worked.
Peter Ebert, Pottstown, PA teaching the newly created Mathematics
position in the high school due to increased enrollment. Mr. Ebert is a
graduate of Millersville University with certification in Mathematics.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Marilyn Erb, Boyertown, PA teaching 7th grade Social Studies in the
Middle School replacing Robert Stipa who retired. Ms. Erb is a graduate
of Kutztown University with certification in Social Studies. She was
previously employed by Spring-Ford as an instructional assistant at the
Middle School. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998
with compensation set at $28,500, BS, Beginning level.
Kimberly Frattone, Limerick, PA for the newly created 6th Grade
Reading/Science position in the Middle School due to increased
enrollment. Ms. Frattone is a graduate of Ohio Northern University with
certification in Elementary Education. She was a per diem substitute with

the district. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Mari Janelle Gaydos, Phoenixville, PA for the .5 guidance counselor
position in Spring City Elementary replacing Virginia Prevost who
transferred to Royersford Elementary for a full time position. Ms. Gaydos
is a graduate of West Chester University with certification in Elementary
School Counselor. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998
with compensation set at $30,500, Masters Beginning, prorated for time
worked.
Kathleen Gebhard, Spring City, PA for the newly created 6th Grade
Learning Support position in the Middle School due to increased
enrollment. Ms. Gebhard is a graduate of Penn State University with
certification in Elementary and Mentally &/or Physically Handicapped
Education. She was previously employed with another school district.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $30,500, BS+18, Step 2.
Alyce Gilhool, Phoenixville, PA teaching Grade 2 at Limerick
Elementary replacing Roberta Pickett who resigned. Ms. Gilhool is a
graduate of West Chester University with certification in Elementary
Education. She was a per diem substitute for the district. Effective date
of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500,
BS, Beginning Level.
Richard L. Harrison, Jr., Levittown, PA for the newly created .4 physical
education position at Spring City due to the need for additional services.
Mr. Harrison is a graduate of West Chester University with certification in
Health and Physical Education. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500, BS, Beginning Level
prorated for time worked.
Monica Johner, Collegeville, PA teaching Grade 3 at Oaks Elementary
replacing Claire Jones who resigned. Ms. Johner is a graduate of West
Chester University with certification in Early Childhood and Elementary
Education. She was previously a long-term substitute for the district.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Craig Kehl, Boyertown, PA for the newly created Social Studies position
in the Senior High School. Mr. Kehl is a graduate of Susquehanna
University with certification in Social Studies. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500
BS, Beginning Level.

Mary Pat Long, Collegeville, PA teaching Grade 3 at Oaks Elementary
replacing Kathy Hungate who resigned. Ms. Long is a graduate of
Immaculata College with certification in Elementary Education. She also
received a BS in Computer Science from St. Joseph’s University. Ms.
Long was a per diem substitute for the district. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $30,500
Masters Beginning Level.
Jeanne O’Brien, Drexel Hill, PA for the newly created Speech position at
Oaks Elementary due to enrollment. Ms. O’Brien is a graduate of
Kutztown University with certification in Speech & Language Impaired.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS, Beginning Level.
Lyndi Puleo, Lafayette Hill, PA teaching 7th Grade English at the Middle
School replacing Cathy Campbell who transferred to Social Studies
replacing Richard Bacchi who retired. Ms. Puleo is a graduate of Cabrini
College with certification in Elementary Education. She was a per diem
substitute for the district. Effective date of employment will be August 28,
1998 with compensation set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Joanne Petersen, Lansdale, PA for the newly created Grade 3 position in
Oaks Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms. Petersen is a
graduate of Beaver College with a BA in English and certification in
Elementary Education. She was a long-term substitute for the district in
the 97/98 school year. Effective date of employment will be August 28,
1998 with compensation set at $32,500 Master, Step 3.
Todd Reagan, Downingtown, PA teaching 7th grade Mathematics in the
Middle School replacing Todd Bowers who transferred to the Gifted
position replacing Diane Kuszyk who retired. Mr. Reagan is a graduate of
Radford University with certification in Mathematics. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500,
BS, Beginning Level.
Sandra Soricelli, Lafayette Hill, PA for the newly created Learning
Support position at Brooke Elementary due to increased enrollment. Ms.
Soricelli is a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College with certification in
Elementary and Mentally &/or Physically Handicapped Education. She
was previously employed by Colonial School District. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $30,500,
BS, Step 3.
Janice K. Straubel, Norristown, PA for the .3 Environmental Science
position replacing Joanne Hurley who resigned. Ms. Straubel is a
graduate of Bob Jones University with certification in Elementary

Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level, prorated for time
worked.
Katherine Verespy, Downingtown, PA for the newly created Emotional
Support position at the Senior High School due to increased enrollment.
Ms. Verespy is a graduate of Lock Haven University with certification in
Mentally &/or Physically Handicapped and Elementary Education. She
was previously employed by the Devereux Foundation. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $30,500,
BS+18, Step 2.
Diana Ward, Lansdale, PA, teaching Home Economics in the Senior High
School replacing Julie Davidheiser who transferred to Limerick
Elementary. Ms. Ward is a graduate of Indiana University of PA with
certification in Home Economics. She was previously employed by
Southeast Delco School District. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $36,000, Masters, Step 6.
Renee Wielgomas, Trooper, PA for the newly created .5 Grade 8 Social
Studies position at the Middle School due to increased enrollment. Ms.
Wielgomas is a graduate of West Chester University with certification in
Elementary Education. She was a per diem substitute for the district.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level, prorated for time worked.
LL. Administration recommends for approval the following individuals as
Long-Term Substitutes:
Shelly Douglas, Trappe, PA teaching Grade 6, Reading/English in the
Middle School replacing Elizabeth Corcoran who is out on childrearing
leave. Ms. Douglas is a graduate of Penn State University with
certification in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist. Effective
date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at
$33,000, Masters + 30.
Alison Hughes, Perkasie, PA teaching Grade 5 at Brooke Elementary
replacing Judy Styryker who is on a leave. Ms. Hughes is a graduate of
East Stroudsburg University with certification in Elementary and Mentally
&/or Physically Handicapped Education. Effective date of employment
will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500 BS, Beginning
Level.
Kari Kowalski, Royersford, PA teaching Kindergarten at Limerick
Elementary replacing Chris Egitto who is on maternity/childrearing leave.
Ms. Kowalski is a graduate of West Chester University with certification in

Elementary Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28,
1998 with compensation set at $28,500, BS Beginning Level.
Brian Manelski, Newark Delaware, teaching English at the Senior High
School replacing Kerrie Miller who is on an unpaid professional
development leave. Mr. Manelski is a graduate of Millersville University
with certification in English. Effective date of employment will be August
28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500 BS, Beginning Level.
Melissa Murphy, Royersford, PA, teaching Grade 1 at Brooke Elementary
replacing Rita Freed who is on maternity/childrearing leave. Ms. Murphy
is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with certification in Elementary
Education. She was a per diem substitute for the district. Effective date
of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $28,500,
BS Beginning Level.
Sharon Pollack, East Norriton, PA teaching Grade 3 at Brooke
Elementary replacing Paige Menton who is out on maternity/childrearing
leave. Ms. Pollack is a graduate of Penn State University with
certification in Elementary and Mentally &/or Physically Handicapped
Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $28,500, BS, Beginning Level.
Dina Preston, Limerick, PA teaching Grade 2 at Royersford Elementary
replacing Tammy Purnell who is out on maternity/childrearing leave till the
end of the second quarter of the 98/99 school year. Ms. Preston is a
graduate of Bloomsburg University with certification in Elementary & Early
Childhood Education. She was an instructional assistant for the district.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $28,500, BS Beginning.
MM. Administration recommends for approval the following individuals as
Instructional Assistants:
Kathleen Baker, Royersford, PA, to work in Royersford Elementary in first
grade due to increased enrollment. Ms. Baker has an Associates Degree
from Thomas Jefferson University. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or
$10.20 an hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Shelly Baver, Pennsburg, PA to work in Brooke Elementary in the newly
created learning support classroom. Ms.Baver is a graduate of Kutztown
University with certification in Elementary Education. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 + .25
for her degree or $10.20 an hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’
Agreement.

Gina Berardelli, Norristown, PA to work in Oaks Elementary working
one-one-one with a special education student. Ms. Berardelli is a
graduate of West Chester University with certification in Elementary
Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or $10.20 an hour plus
benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Nina Calamaro, Royersford, PA to work in the Middle School in the new
learning support position working with Ms. Dickey. Ms. Calamaro was
employed by the district in the food services department. Effective date
of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 an
hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Mary Alice Dougherty, West Chester, to work in Oaks Elementary
working one-on-one with a student as per the IEP. Ms. Dougherty is a
graduate of West Chester University with certification in Early Childhood
Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or $10.20 an hour plus
benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Susan Eisenhauer, Royersford, PA to work in the Middle School in the
new learning support position working with Ms. Bianco. Ms. Eisenhauer
is a graduate of Millersville University with certification in Elementary
Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or $10.20 an hour plus
benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
David Gilmore, Reading, PA to work in the Middle School working
one-on-one with students as per the IEP in Mrs. Briggs class. Mr.
Gilmore is a student of West Chester University majoring in Health &
Physical Education. Effective date of employment will be August 28,
1998 with compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for his degree or $10.20 an
hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Margaret Knox, Spring City, PA. to work in the Middle School as an
instructional assistant for Mrs. Frankel’s learning support class. Ms. Knox
is a graduate of Indiana State University with a BS degree in Consumer
Economics. Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with
compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or $10.20 an hour plus
benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Shirley Lynn, Spring City, PA., to work in the Middle School replacing
Marilyn Erb who transferred to a teaching position. Ms. Lynn is a
graduate of Susquehanna University with a degree in Sociology. She
was a per diem sub with the district. Effective date of employment will be

August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 + .25 for her degree or
$10.20 an hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Susan McCandless, Perkiomenville, PA, to work in the Senior High
School working in the new learning support position. Effective date of
employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 an
hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Ralph O’Neill, Schwenksville, PA, to work in the Senior High School in
the new emotional support position. Mr. O’Neill is a graduate of
Monmouth University with a BA degree in Education/Communication.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $9.95 + .25 for his degree or $10.20 an hour plus benefits as per the
Assistants’ Agreement.
Emily Peden, Royersford, PA to work in Brooke Elementary replacing
Seana Valentine who resigned. Effective date of employment will be
August 28, 1998 with compensation set at $9.95 an hour plus benefits as
per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Ethel Jane Sabbi, Spring City, PA to work in Royersford Elementary
replacing Margaret Palladino who transferred to a teaching position.
Effective date of employment will be August 28, 1998 with compensation
set at $9.95 an hour plus benefits as per the Assistants’ Agreement.
Margaret Stackhouse, Royersford, PA to work in the Middle School as
the Computer Assistant replacing Betsy Daley who transferred to Asst.
Principal Secretary. Ms. Stackhouse is a graduate of Montgomery
County Community College with an Associates Degree. She has been a

V. FINANCE

A. Administration recommends Board approval to advertise the sale of
shop equipment. Items for sale are the following: planer, jointer, table saw,
rockwell radial drill press, wood lathe and grinder. Sealed bids must be
received no later than Tuesday, September 1,1998, at 3:00 p.m.
B. Chartwell, an experienced company has been working for over 400
non-profit clients in Pennsylvania (203 of these being School Districts) for
recovering of sales tax paid by contractors, although the recovery process
takes about 15 months, many clients have already received refund checks –
secured by Chartwell. Chartwell’s fee for service is 45% of all sums
recovered by way of the refund claim process, including sales tax, interest,
and penalties (total refund). Administration recommends Board approval.
C. Board approval is recommended to set-up a Capital Fund and order
checks for the Oaks and Limerick Renovation/Addition projects. A separate
fund is necessary for proper accounting standards.
D. Acceptance of the Department of the Auditor General’s Audit Report
for the years ended June 30, 1995 and 1996 is recommended. As stated at
the earlier Board meeting the state Audit Report had no findings and the
Business Office shall be commended for an outstanding report.
E. Administration recommends approval for additional unallocated fund
balance to be identified by the audit of 1997-98 funds be placed in Capital
Reserve for a Natatorium Fund.
F. Bids for Student Accident Insurance have been reviewed by the
Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. Spring-Ford has in the past also
considered quotations for purchasing All-Sports coverage and Catastrophic
Medical Coverage. Administration is recommending Board approval of
Posse-Walsh Buckman Van Buren, utilizing the services of A-G
Administrators whose plan of benefits is underwritten by Cigna Insurance
Company (A+ superior). The cost of this coverage is:

I. PROPERTY
A. Administration is recommending approval of the low bidder Miller
Pump Service to install a new 8" well at the new high school location. Also
one will be installed at the existing football stadium area for a not-to-exceed
will be $6,000 for the well and $3,800 for the pump, startup and testing. The
well be used for watering the new ball fields and the football field to save

costs that is normally spent on city water to achieve the same results. These
wells will also be installed per DEP approval so they can be used at a later
day for any concession stands or public bathrooms. Funds will come from
both New Construction and General Fund.
B. Administration is recommending that we issue a change order to install
sod to the out field of the new baseball stadium to insure the use of the field in
the spring. The total cost not-to-exceed $35,000.00 which includes all
overhead and profit.
