GDLN Session at Online Educa Berlin: Emerging Markets in Elearning

Description:
In a dynamic debate the experiences of learning experts from five emerging markets
(East Asia & the Pacific, South Asia, Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, and Eastern
Europe & Central Asia) will be contrasted with those from companies with an interest in
emerging markets and developing countries. Participants should leave the session with
a list of lessons learned that may smooth their path to accessing the right audience, the
right technologies and the right content in emerging markets.

“This session will provide practical information on producers of
elearning products can work in emerging markets. The session
focuses on three basic themes
1. Accessing target audiences and markets
2. Creating needs based programs (how to identify the real
needs on the ground)
3. Networking and Communication
Our group of resource speakers have local expertise in Africa, East
Asia, South Asia, Europe and Central Asia, and Latin America and
the Caribbean. These learning specialists, who belong to the Global
Development Learning Network, are on hand to offer expert advice
