 It’s hard to believe we begin our Easter vacation tomorrow at 12:15 p.m. May God Bless
 You and your wonderful families this Easter Season and grant you health, happiness and
 joy. Thank you for all you have done for St. Stephen School this year and for all you
 continue to do. If you are able, please join us tomorrow, Holy Thursday, in church at
 11:00 a.m. for a special prayer service presented by our 7th Graders. Know you are always
 welcome to join us. When I count my blessings this Easter the St. Stephen School
 Community will be on my special list. Happy Easter!


 Please plan on attending our Easter Egg Hunt after the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday.
 Special thanks to Samantha Martinez, Renee Wallis and their families for their hard work
 in planning and preparing this special event.


 Happy Administrative Professionals Day to our super, sensational and spectacular Office
 Manager - Mrs. O’Callaghan. We are SO lucky to have Mrs. O’Callaghan at St. Stephen
 School and THANK her for all she does for everyone each and everyday. Thanks to Mrs.
 Bruneman our wonderful and efficient Office Assistant for her help in making our office
 run smoothly. We appreciate you and THANK YOU for all you do for us. Special thanks
 to our bookkeeper Mrs. McGovern for taking care of all our bookkeeping needs. THANK
 YOU ALL for doing a great job. We are so lucky to have Mrs. O’Callaghan, Mrs. Bruneman
 and Mrs. McGovern at St. Stephen School.


 Please join us for May Crowning on Tuesday, May 3rd at 8:15 a.m. in the school yard. All are
 welcome. Thanks to our Student Council, Ms. Chiarani and Ms. Cardenas for planning this
 special celebration.

MINIMUM DAY Please note that Holy Thursday, April 21st is a minimum day. Students
will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.. There will not be Extended Care on this day. Thank you!

EASTER EGG HUNT You are cordially invited to our annual St. Stephen School and Parish
Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday following 9:30 a.m. Mass. Grab your Easter basket and
hop on over to Rolph Nicol Park for some eatin’, some greetin’ and some huntin’. Don’t miss
this popular event! Please call Renee Wallis or Samantha Martinez if you have any questions.

SCRIP REMINDER Scrip Profit Statements were sent home in last week's Family Envelope.
 As a reminder, your Scrip commitment of $180.00 is due no later than May 15, 2011.
Unpaid balances will be considered delinquent after this date. To view detailed Scrip

WALK-A-THON We would like to thank the volunteers who came out to support this
fantastic event! We had many more than expected and you made it a great day. Thank-you
to the teachers, aides, staff, and administration who helped this day run smoothly.
Everyone was so willing to help to make this fun for the students who worked so hard
walking and running our course. Kindergarten-2nd grade received medals and certificates
and 3rd -8th grades received certificates. Everyone got to enjoy ice cream at the end of the
day. A more thorough “thank-you” will go out in the Family Envelope after Spring Break,
but we wanted to extend our appreciation early. A special THANK-YOU to Jim Maciel and
our fabulous Women’s Guild Presidents Alicia Pashby & Giovanna Oropeza for their support

WOMEN’S GUILD DINNER Please remember to send in your RSVP's for the Women's
Guild Dinner on May 3rd honoring our graduating 8th Grade moms. We would love to see all
of our school moms there. Return your reservation slip and money by Thursday, April 21st.

PARTICIPATION HOURS Last week you were sent home the most up-to-date information
regarding your participation hours. The due date for completed hours forms is May 15th. If
you are working on graduation activities, etc., just let us know. Please call Mrs. Bruneman if
you have any questions. Thank you!

TUITION Your April payment was due April 15th A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for
any payments received after the 15th.
