Homemade Lip Gloss
¼ teaspoon grated paraffin wax 1 sandwich sized Ziplock bag
1 teaspoon coconut oil 1 small container with a lid
1 teaspoon Vaseline
1 candy melt
1/8 teaspoon oil based candy flavoring
red, pink, purple paste food coloring (optional)
Place all ingredients in a Ziploc bag and seal. Carefully put the sealed bag in a
bowl of hot tap water (For large groups of children, fill a Crockpot set on low
with hot water so your water stays warm). When all ingredients are melted squish
them together until your lip gloss is thoroughly mixed. Clip of a corner of the bag
and pour the contents into your small container. Let it set for about an hour, or
fifteen minutes in the fridge before putting the lid on.
Makes about 1 tablespoon of lip gloss.
