     • Sobriety, soundness of mind,
       soberness, self-control.
   • Christianity addressees the mind
     and it’s thoughts (1 Cor 10:29 Cf *1
     Tim 4:16).

   • As a women is your public attire...
     • Modest...
     • Reverent...
     • Designed to regard the
       conscience of others. What
       does it cause others to think and
       to think about you?
     • Does it convey self-control?
  • Lets not exclude men (1 Tim 2:6-
    8).

I. Immodesty...
   • Immodest dress...
     • Is not sober-minded...
     • Is not concerned with the
       thoughts of others, hence not
       the salvation of others!
     • Displays an attitude of
       conformity to the world and it’s
       standard (Rom 12:2).
     • Is Sin!!!!!

   • “Forsaking The Assembling Together
     Of Yourselves” (Heb 10:25)...
     • Forsake- abandon, desert, to leave
       surviving...
     • Assembling- gathering together of
       ourselves...

II. Forsaking The Assembly...

    • Ways Christians forsake the assembling together of themselves...
      • Sleep in...
      • Seeks work and not worship (Matt 6:20, 33).
      • Obeys employer instead of the Creator...

      • Doesn’t seek to find a sound church where they will be
        vactioning...
      • Attempts to become a local church...
        • Scheduling conflicts with vacation agenda...
        • Local church too far to travel...
        • Local church not there...

         • Greater Tabernacle (9:1-12)...

II. Forsaking The Assembly...
   • Greater responsibility...
     • To God (10:22-23)...
     • One another (24-25)...
   • Greater accountability (10:26-31)...
   • When we forsake the assembling together of God’s
     children we...
1. Do not draw near to God (vs. 22)…
2. Do not have hearts full of faith (vs. 22)…
3. Do not hold fast the confession of our faith (vs. 23).
4. Do not have consideration for our brethren (vs. 24).
5. Do consider the approaching day (25)…
6. Sin willfully (26)…
7. We forfeit the sacrifice for our sins (26)…
8. We create an expectation of judgment worse then under Moses (27-29a)…
9. Trample underfoot the Son of God, count His blood a common thing, and insult
   NKJV the Spirit of grace (29b)...
10. Have forgotten their former state (vv. 32, 33)...
11. Are not compassionate for brethren (v. 34)...
12. Have forgotten about heaven (v. 34)...
13. Cast away their confidence (v. 35)…
14. Have no endurance (v. 36)...
15. Give little thought of the second coming (v. 37)...
16. Are not living by faith but drawing back (v. 38)...
17. Do not have to continue to do so (v. 39)...
