Registration
Registration will start on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 08:30 and will take place at the
main hall of Aulario General II. The registration and information desk will be open
during the Meeting.
You will receive your conference bag from the registration and information desk. The
conference bag will contain the following items:
Name badge
Certificate of attendance and receipt of registration payment
Program book
Notepad and pen
Lunch tickets
Invitation for Conference Dinner
Alicante tourist information
For further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact conference staff at the
registration and information desk at any time.
Presentations
All presentations will be made by using data projectors. Ten minutes before your
session, please bring a USB key containing your presentation in pdf or powerpoint
format to the PhD students working in the room. There will be 25 minutes for each
presentation including questions.
WARNING: Please, note that there will be undergraduate classes on Friday 29 at
Aulario II. Due to this constraint, we will have different classrooms for each block of
sessions during the first day. The classrooms are located in the ground floor and also
in the first and second floor of Aulario II. On Saturday 30, however all sessions will take
place in consecutive classrooms of the ground floor. Please, refer to the map posted
below for a clarification related to the location of all the classrooms in which any
session will take place. An overview of sessions with their specific assigned
classrooms is also posted below.
Name Badge
Your name badge is your security pass for entrance into all events, including those
held off the meeting venue. It is absolutely necessary for all conference participants to
wear their name badges at all times.
Computer Room
There will be a computer room available for all participants in the second floor of
Aulario II (see maps of Aulario II below). Schedule:

All participants coming from institutions belonging to EDUROAM can enjoy wi-fi
internet connection all across the campus of the University of Alicante by simply
opening their internet browser.
EDUROAM (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service
developed for the international research and education community. EDUROAM allows
students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet
connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply
opening their laptop.
For people coming from institutions not belonging to EDUROAM, there exists the
possibility to connect their laptops to a wireless network created specifically for the
Meeting, at any place located at the Aulario II building. The access to this network will
require a 26 digit code that will be provided upon request at the registration desk during
the meeting.
Meeting Program
An updated version of the Meeting program can be reached at the Webmeets site

In this new version of the program last minute changes have been incorporated. No
presenter has been assigned a different session from the originally scheduled but there
have been some cancellations. Please check whether your session is affected by any
of these small changes. A program book will be delivered with the conference bag at
the registration and information desk.
Lunch and Coffee Breaks
Coffee breaks will be served during the two days of the Meeting at Aulario II. On
Friday, they will be served in the first floor and, on Saturday, on the ground floor.
Lunches will be served at “Club Social II” building, located between the "Aulario
General II" and the Faculty of Economics. Additional cafeterias, where you can order
food and drink anytime, are available on campus on October 29th, 2010 and nearby (at
the San Vicente Outlet Park, Alicante St. 94, and at San Vicente del Raspeig, the small
town where the university campus is located) on October 30th, 2010.
Welcome Reception at Santa Barbara Castle
There will be a welcome reception in the evening of Friday, October 29th 2010, at
Santa Barbara Castle. The Santa Barbara Castle is located on Mount Benacantil, a
rocky massif rising 166 metres above sea level. From the summit it is possible to see
the entire Bay of Alicante and the surrounding stretch of land.
