PROJECT OVERVIEW

Filmed on Depeche Mode’s triumphant Devotional Tour in 1993, Grammy-nomitaed Devotional showcases

the band at its most raw and energetic, with the press marveling at the ‘rock star antics’ of captivating lead

singer, Dave Gahan. The two level stage set, video images, and film projections were conceived by top

rock photographer, Anton Corbijn, in alliance with lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe. Drawing heavily

from the Songs Of Faith And Deviotion album, the tour featured such Depeche classics as “Walking In My

Shoes”, “Behind The Wheel”, “Personal Jesus”, and “Enjoy The Silence”. Included in this 2-DVD set are a

host of never-before-released extras including live performances, promo videos, interview with Anton

Corbijn, MTV ‘Rockumentary’, and eight stunning back projections that illuminated the tour that captivated

thousands.
