1. Sign up for a Blogger Account
2. Open a new tab or window
3. Type in www.blogger.com
4. In the upper right-hand corner, you should see a login by using your Google account
i. Type in your Google username and password (You have them written down, right?)
ii. For your display name, please use only your first initial and last name. For example, Mrs.
Blackmon would use sblackmon as her display name.
iii. It is up to you whether or not your receive Blogger updates
iv. Click the box to agree to the terms of service and click the big orange arrow that says continue.
v. A “dashboard” will appear…this is how and where you navigate around your blog.
vi. Click on “Create you r blog now”
vii. Now you need to name your blog. Keep it professional. My suggestion would be to call it your
first initial and last name.” Mrs. Blackmon’s would be “SBlackmon’s Psych Blog”
viii. You can set your own blog address. My suggestion here would be your first initial, last name
and then psych. Mrs. Blackmon’s would be sblackmonpsych.
ix. Click the big orange arrow
x. Choose a template. Don’t spend too much time here; you can always change the look of your
blog later.
xi. Click the big orange arrow.
xii. Title your blog post with the date.
xiii. Type several sentences reflecting on how you’re feeling about the whole electronic portfolio
xiv. When you are finished writing your post (Check and double check for spelling errors and
grammar mistakes), click “publish post”
xv. Click “view post.” You’re a blogger!
xvi. Go to Mrs. Blackmon’s blog from the Hillgrove homepage
and complete the form titled “Psych Blog Addresses”.

END WITH @BLOGSPOT.COM!!!!!)
