Master Or Doctoral Degree

After acquiring a bachelor degree the next step is to apply for a doctoral
or a master degree program in medicine. With the masters degree the
student will be placed within a medical environment as part of an
internship as well as carrying out course work.

After obtaining a masters or doctorate the next stage is taking the
medical licensing examination. The structure of this exam is split in to
two sections which are scheduled to be taken at different times. The first
part of the licensing exam is taken within the first 2 years of study at med
school and the second part taken after year 4.
