MISSOULA USBC ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
YOU ARE APPLYING FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Missoula USBC Association Scholarship - $750.00 each
To be awarded as follows: 1 to a GRADUATING SENIOR GIRL
1 to a GRADUATING SENIOR BOY
ELIGIBILITY RULES:
1) All candidates must be a graduating high school senior within the boundaries of the Missoula USBC
Association #81154. The SAT or ACT test MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN to qualify.
2) Be a current member of a sanctioned USBC league in Missoula and be in good standing for the current
season. The bowler must have participated in a YABA/USBC sanctioned league for at least the past two
(2) consecutive years.
3) Have unimpaired amateur standing in all athletic participation.
4) Not have bowled, or participated in, adult leagues or tournaments, jackpots, Monte Carlos, etc.
5) Attend a college, university, Vo-Tech or other accredited school of higher learning.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1) Each candidate will:
Complete Part 1, pages 1 & 2 – Personal Information
Give Part 2 to your Coach to be completed and signed
Give Part 3 to your Teacher or Counselor to be completed and signed
Turn in a total of three (3) COMPLETED copies of Parts 1, 2, and 3 to your Junior Director by March 15, 2009.
Scholarships are managed through the SMART (Scholarship Management and Accounting Reports for Tenpins)
program administered by national headquarters. Scholarships not used within six years from the date of high
school graduation or date awarded (if awarded after graduation) will revert back to the Missoula USBC
Association. The Missoula USBC Association reserves the right to award no scholarship(s) if minimum criteria
has not been met.
