Bucks County (Doylestown):
Filing’s intended for the Prothonotary are accepted prior to or after
the close of business, as late as 10:00 PM. Time stamped copies
are available at the time of the filing, bearing that’s day’s date and
are returned the same evening.
Montgomery County (Norristown):
No advance notice or deadline required. Calls are accepted anytime
after the close of business (4:15 PM). A self addressed stamped
envelope must accompany the filing in order to receive a time
stamped copy bearing that day’s date. A courier can be dispatched
the following morning to retrieve the copy at an additional
expense.
Service is available to other counties. Calls are accepted until 3:00
PM and are subject to certain restrictions and prior arrangements
with the respective county court.
