                  Aztec God Huitzilopochtli

The god I did is the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli. He is also known as Mextli,
Mexitl, and Uitzitopochtli. Huitzilopochtli is the mighty War god. His mother was
Coatlicue. She got impregnated with a ball of feathers. His symbol is the
hummingbird. Mostly because, he was a humming bird and he could turn back
into a very ugly god, with a snake in one hand and feathers on his head and back,
he had a black face. In his other hand he is holding a snake. Huitzilopochtli can
steal your heart. They say he can take up to 70,000 hearts in one go. When he
heard about the gossip about his mother he went on a bludgeoning rampage with a
fire serpent. They killed many people including his brothers who went by then
name Centzonuitznaua. He also killed his step sister Coyloxauqui. He took of her
head and threw it into the sky. Then she became the moon goddess.
Huitzilopochtli is also the sun god. He killed people and gave there bodies to the
sun. He also needed his daily nourishment. So he would eat the heart and drink
their blood. When ever he went into war and for every person he killed he would
call them quauhteca, or the eagles people. There are many stories about
Huitzilopochtli and what he was and what he did. He was mostly known as
Huitzilopochtli god of sun and war. He was also dislike by many people because
of his often killing sprees, and thirst for human blood, and need for hearts. He was
feared to be with because he could very easily take your hearts and blood, and give
                                 your body to the sun.
