					Yellowfin & Macquarie Uni Announced 2011 Ventana BI Awards Finalists

Australian Higher Education provider, Macquarie University, a client of
international Business Intelligence (BI) vendor, Yellowfin, has been
announced as a finalist for the fifth annual Ventana Research Leadership
Awards.

Melbourne, Victoria, November 28, 2011 -- The 2011 global awards were
open to any organization and vendor that had delivered a BI
implementation during 2010/11.

The awards, to be announced in a live Webinar on Friday 2 December at
11am Pacific Time, recognize individuals and organizations that have
advanced business leadership by effectively utilizing their people,
process, information and technology to achieve the best outcomes
possible.

The awards will be judged by Ventana Research’s world-renowned industry
research team.

Scoring will be based on the strength of the overall submission, its use
of people, processes, information and technology, the best practices
developed and the project’s business impacts in 2010/11 as well as the
projected value in 2012.

The Yellowfin-Macquarie University implementation also won the People’s
Choice Award at the inaugural 2011 Excellence in Business Intelligence
Awards.

Award winners were announced from a shortlist of six finalists at the
Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing 2.0 Conference, 26 October
2011, Sydney, Australia.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award was chosen by conference
attendees, which included a raft of industry leaders, veterans and
experts, who nominated the case study they found most inspiring.

The awards, coordinated by The Australian Business Intelligence
Leadership Forum, were open to any organization or vendor that delivered
or participated in the delivery of a BI project within Australia since 1
July 2010.
