Adjustment to THAI’s YQ Fuel Surcharges

Further to our Agents Advice 18/10 of 24 December 2010, Thai Airways International wishes to advise that due to the
continuing rise in jet fuel prices, it is necessary to revise the YQ Fuel Surcharges.
PLEASE NOTE: the following YQ surcharges DO NOT apply to THAI’s Published Carrier fares for travel commencing and sold in
Australia with a fare basis ending in AU or AUP where a Q-surcharge is auto-priced in the fare construction.
They will apply to all other international fare types sold in Australia, e.g. normal published TG or IATA fares, Star Alliance fares
and fares for travel originating outside Australia.
For tickets issued or reissued worldwide, the YQ Fuel Surcharges below will be applied effective on/after 17 February 2011.

The YQ Fuel Surcharge will apply to each flight sector/coupon for all adult/child passengers travelling on THAI flights and will
be collected at the time of ticket issuance. Infants pay 10% of the adult/child YQ Fuel Surcharge, rounded up to the nearest
USD1.00 or THB5. Application of the YQ Fuel Surcharge includes flights operated by other airlines as code share services on
behalf of THAI, and applies to all fare types, including FFP award tickets and AD travel. Agent commission/interline service fee
is not applicable to these YQ Surcharges.
