TASK DESCRIPTION
1A Listen to the Anti Terrorist Hotline sound file and fill in Review Document 1
with the good and not-so-good features of the sound clip
1B Listen to the one of the other advert sound files (Apache Pizza or the Maritime
Museum) and fill in Review Document 2 with the good and not-so-good
features of the sound clip
2A Now you are going to create your own advert about a new Ten Pin Bowling
Alley in Rushden. For your own advert clip, fill in the Aim and audience
Document with the aims and target audience of your advert
2B Create a basic storyboard showing what is going to happen in your advert (Use
the Storyboard Document as a template)
3A Create your own advert using Audacity. It must be
at least 45 seconds long. You can use the Audacity
User Guide to help you with this. There are some
test sound files available.
3B Ask your teacher to listen to the advert and fill in
the witness statement to confirm that the advert is
how you’ve described it.

3C Print a screenshot of you importing (loading) a file
into Audacity
3D Print a screenshot of you cutting (removing part of)

3E Print a screenshot of you copying part a file from

in Audacity
4A Fill in the test plan (Test Plan Document). See the
example (Test Plan Example) if you’re not sure.
4B Identify some areas where you could improve my
advert (this goes in the final column of the Test
Plan document). You’ll need to explain how you
could improve the advert.
