How to Apply
All applicants must submit the following items. Drop off at any NTC Campus or mail to: NTC Admissions
Office ~ 1000 West Campus Drive ~ Wausau, WI 54401. There is no deadline to submit; however, many
programs at NTC fill quickly. Applications will be processed by date received.

Additional Program Requirements
*If you have an outstanding balance at NTC you are required to pay it in full prior to submitting an application. All
application materials will be returned to you if the outstanding balance is not paid in full at the time of application.
Students entering the major courses of the Accounting Assistant program are required to have basic keyboarding
skills. Students not having these skills may take a keyboarding class (10-106-178 Computer Keyboarding, 1
credit) prior to admittance.
Students not meeting minimum Windows Proficiency Test entry requirements will be allowed one retest. If upon
second attempt requirements have not been met, students will be required to complete an appropriate class:
• 10-103-046 Windows 7 ( 1 credit) or 10-103-045 Windows Vista (1 credit)
Admission and Notification Priority
Applicants who meet the admission requirements will be admitted in order of completed application dates. If the
program is full, students will be provided with other options for getting started at NTC. Applicants are admitted in
both the spring and fall semesters.
Accepted students will be given the option to defer their start date two consecutive times. Should a candidate
accept an admittance date and then withdraw less than one month before the semester begins, the candidate will
need to reapply.
Concerns about schedules and registering for classes should be directed to an Advising Specialist.
Financial aid is available for eligible students who are accepted into a program.
Transfer Credit and Advanced Standing
The Records Office will evaluate transfer credits after program acceptance is achieved.
