2004 Annual County Profile Benton Executive Summary As of 2003, Benton County’s largest private industry was Trade, representing 21.45 percent (1,184) of the county’s total covered employment of 5,521. Although the county’s total employment decreased by 2.63 percent since 2002, the average annual wage increased by 5.80 percent to $25,747 for all industries.
