Swimming Pool Rules
1. NO person under the age of 14 will be permitted in the swimming pool area without
being accompanied by an adult, parent, or guardian. Older siblings under the age of 18
are NOT appropriate guardians. Adult, parent or guardians are fully responsible for all
persons under the age of 18 using the swimming pool facilities.
2. All children in diapers must wear pool approved swimming diapers only, they must be
snug fitting elastic waist and leg fittings before entering the swimming pool.. NO
regular diapers that swell or leak are permitted. Parents must report any accidents to a
board member immediately.
3. Parents must accompany small children under 7 to the restrooms.
4. Parents are responsible for cleaning up after their children, (toys, food wrappers, drink
containers ect…). Anything left at the pool after closing has a very good chance of being
thrown away.
5. All persons should shower before entering the swimming pool.
6. All conduct that endangers the safety and comfort of others (including profanity,
boisterous or dangerous horseplay, disrespectful conduct, running on deck, diving from
the pool side, ect…) will be prohibited within the pool area.
7. No person showing evidence of a communicable disease, bodily discharges, open
blisters or cuts and bandages will not be allowed entry to the swimming pool area. If
you have an ear, eye, or respiratory infection you should not enter the pool.
8. No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs should use the pool.
9. No spitting or blowing nose in the pool.
10. No person experiencing diarrhea or other gastrointestinal (stomach) symptoms or
nausea should enter the swimming pool area.
11. No animals will be allowed in the swimming pool area
12. No glass containers are allowed in swimming pool area.
13. No swimming will be allowed during inclement weather conditions.
14. Each member eligible to swim must use his/her own key to enter swimming pool gate.
Do not let other neighbors in with your key, they must have their own key.
15. No more than 4 guests per family allowed at the pool at any given time. The Member
must be present with them at the pool to use the facilities. Other home owners in the
neighborhood or their children are not guests and must use their own key to enter
pool area. (You can not take a homeowner or their children who is delinquent in
paying their dues as your guest).
16. No propping open of the gate, this can be dangerous to small children.
17. No using the pool furniture as play toys (making tents and forts) as this takes up much
needed chairs for us to sit on during busy times at the pool.
18. Pool is open from 9am to 10pm.
We as a neighborhood need to be respectful of these rules as a whole; they are for the
protection of the association and its members. We do not have a life guard to enforce them so
we need each other to keep our eyes and ears open. If there is anything going on that should
not be, please inform a board member if you are uncomfortable handling it.
