At Home Science Project – ____________________

Due Date Mon., Tues., or Thurs. Feb. _________





Please let me know your experiment by Thursday, Feb.

12th, or as soon as you are ready. Have a few choices- 1st

and 2nd choices- so we don’t have duplicate activities. I’ll

give you the ok confirmation once you bring in your

project slip on the back page.





Directions: Use scientific method form(see attached sheet)

to conduct an experiment on any of the topics below.

Bring your project and science project form (filled out) to

class on the day of your presentation.



Earth & Space Science – Several Topics to Explore:

****Know that Earth’s features are constantly changed by a

combination of slow and rapid processes that include the

action of volcanoes, earthquakes, mountain building,

biological changes, erosion, and weathering.



****Know that fossils are evidence of earlier life

and provide data about plants and animals that

lived long ago.



**** . Know that air takes up space, is colorless,

tasteless, and odorless, and exerts a force.



**** Identify how water exists in the air in

different forms (e.g., in clouds and fog as tiny

droplets; in rain, snow, and hail) and changes

from one form to another through various

processes (e.g., freezing/condensation,

and hail) and changes from one form to another

through various processes (e.g.,freezing /condensation,

precipitation, evaporation)
